These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you (“User”, “Learner”, or “You”) and the operators of Pathubs (“we”, “us”, or “our”). If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Platform immediately.

Pathubs is an independent, practical digital learning ecosystem offering:

• Curriculum roadmaps and visual learning pathways across software engineering, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.
• In-depth interactive topic workspaces containing mental models, architecture diagrams, code explanations, and virtual browser labs.
• Formulas visualizers, SQL query predictors, interactive exercises, and practice sandbox interfaces.
• Curated links to official open-source documentation portals and developer references.

4. Account Registration & Account Security

While all roadmaps and learning modules are freely accessible without an account, you may optionally register an account to synchronize your progress across multiple devices.

• Accurate Details: When registering via email or third-party OAuth (such as Google), you agree to provide truthful, accurate, and current information.
• Account Confidentiality: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Prompt Notification: You agree to notify Pathubs immediately at supportpathubs@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorized access or security breach involving your account.
• Non-Transferability: Accounts are personal to the individual learner and may not be sold, leased, shared, or transferred to any third party.

5. Acceptable Use Policy & Prohibited Activities

You agree to use Pathubs only for lawful educational purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use and enjoyment of the Platform by, any other learner.

Specifically, you agree NOT to:

1. Automated Scraping & Data Extraction: Deploy automated bots, crawlers, spiders, or programmatic scrapers to systematically harvest curriculum text, code solutions, interactive sandbox assets, or database endpoints without prior written authorization.
2. Security Bypassing & Exploitation: Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our servers, bypass authentication tokens, tamper with Cloudflare Turnstile bot verification challenges, or defeat Upstash rate-limiting thresholds.
3. Service Disruption: Engage in Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, flood API endpoints, transmit malicious code, viruses, trojans, or corrupted data, or otherwise overburden platform infrastructure.
4. Malicious Submissions: Submit abusive, threatening, defamatory, harassing, sexually explicit, or unlawful messages through feedback widgets, support forms, or community contribution portals.
5. Commercial Resale: Copy, package, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any Pathubs original curriculum guides, diagrams, or proprietary code workspaces without explicit licensing from Pathubs.
6. Impersonation: Impersonate any individual, student, educator, or Pathubs administrator, or falsely misrepresent an affiliation with Pathubs.

6. Intellectual Property & Original Materials

The Platform and its original content, features, interactive interfaces, diagrams, and design elements are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws:

• Original Curriculum Content: All proprietary textual guides, bespoke visual mental models, custom interactive sandboxes (such as SQL runners, regex testers, and memory visualizers), and curriculum structures created by the Pathubs engineering team are the exclusive intellectual property of Pathubs.
• Pathubs Brand:The “Pathubs” name, logo, iconography, styling system, and website domain (pathubs.com) are proprietary trademarks and trade dress of Pathubs and may not be used without prior written authorization.
• Limited Educational License: We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to access and view Pathubs educational content for your own individual, non-commercial self-study. You may not mirror, republish, or redistribute our curriculum guides in bulk.

7. Third-Party Trademarks & Non-Affiliation

Across our roadmaps and topic modules, Pathubs references numerous programming languages, frameworks, developer tools, cloud providers, and computing platforms (including but not limited to Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Excel, Git, and Linux).

• All third-party trademarks, registered trademarks, product names, company names, and logos cited across Pathubs are the property of their respective trademark holders.
• Reference to any third-party technology, service, tool, or website is made solely for identification, educational context, and technical indexing purposes.
• Such reference does not constitute, nor does it imply, any endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, or commercial partnership between Pathubs and any respective trademark holder.

8. External Links & Third-Party Resources

To provide comprehensive curriculum learning, Pathubs links to official external documentation portals (such as MDN Web Docs, Python Software Foundation manuals, PostgreSQL documentation) and external video channels.

• Pathubs does not own, host, re-sell, or control external third-party websites or their content.
• We do not warrant or assume liability for the accuracy, legality, copyright compliance, or availability of external third-party resources.
• When you click an external link, you leave pathubs.com and are governed by the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of the external domain. We strongly encourage you to review the terms of any third-party site you visit.

9. Disclaimers on Career & Employment Outcomes

Pathubs provides career roadmaps, market salary averages, and technical curriculum guides to help learners structure their study journeys. However, Pathubs explicitly disclaims any warranty or guarantee regarding career or commercial outcomes:

• No Job Guarantee: Completing roadmaps, milestone modules, or certification quizzes on Pathubs does not guarantee employment, job placement, internship offers, interview invitations, or client contracts.
• Salary Estimates: Salary figures and demand indicators referenced across the Platform represent approximate global industry market benchmarks compiled for general informational guidance only and do not represent guaranteed earning potential.
• Employer Evaluation: Technical hiring decisions depend exclusively on individual student ability, independent portfolio projects, interview performance, and the sole discretion of employers.

10. User Feedback & Community Submissions

We welcome learners to suggest improvements, report errors, and contribute educational resource ideas:

• Feedback & Suggestions: Any feedback, suggestions, feature requests, or bug reports submitted to Pathubs via forms or email are non-confidential. You grant Pathubs a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, incorporate, and implement such suggestions to improve our educational platform without any obligation of compensation or attribution to you.
• Community Resource Suggestions: By submitting recommended resource URLs or descriptions, you warrant that your submission does not infringe any third-party copyright, does not contain defamatory or unlawful content, and that you have the right to submit such suggestion. Pathubs reserves full editorial discretion to accept, reject, modify, or remove any community submission at any time.

11. Voluntary Contributions & Financial Support

Pathubs is offered 100% free of charge with no paywalls or gated subscription tiers. To support global server hosting, database maintenance, and educational content production, learners may make voluntary financial contributions on our Support page.

• Voluntary Gift Nature: Financial contributions are strictly voluntary gifts made to support educational infrastructure. Contributions do not constitute a purchase of goods, commercial contract for services, investment, or acquisition of equity.
• No Exclusive Privileges: Voluntary contributions do not unlock private courses, priority support, or exclusive curriculum modules. Pathubs remains freely accessible to all learners equally.
• Non-Refundable Policy: Because contributions are applied directly to ongoing platform operating costs, all voluntary contributions are final and non-refundable.
• Payment Processing: Transactions are processed through Razorpay Software Private Limited. Pathubs does not collect or store credit card numbers, debit PINs, CVVs, or online banking credentials.
• Payment Discrepancies: If money is debited from your account due to a technical error without generating a valid payment confirmation, the funds are typically reversed automatically by the banking gateway within 5 to 7 business days. If you experience an unresolved payment issue, please reach out to supportpathubs@gmail.com with your Razorpay Payment ID.

12. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to keep Pathubs operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or 100% continuous uptime:

• The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, software updates, emergency security patches, or telecommunication network failures.
• We reserve the right to alter, enhance, suspend, or discontinue any feature, roadmap, topic module, practice sandbox, or service component at our discretion without prior notice.
• We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Platform or any portion thereof.

13. Account Suspension & Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by requesting account deletion through our support desk.

Pathubs reserves the right, without prior notice and in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to your account or the Platform if:

• You breach or violate any provision of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
• Your activity poses a security risk to other learners or platform infrastructure.
• We are required to do so by a statutory authority, court order, or applicable law.
• The account has remained inactive for an extended period exceeding 24 months.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, PATHUBS AND ALL EDUCATIONAL CONTENT, WORKSPACES, ASSESSMENT QUIZZES, CODE EXAMPLES, AND PLATFORM FEATURES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

PATHUBS EXPLICITLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, FREEDOM FROM COMPUTER VIRUSES, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE FUNCTIONS CONTAINED ON THE PLATFORM WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS, THAT OPERATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR SECURE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE TIMELY CORRECTED, OR THAT THE PLATFORM IS FREE OF DEFECTS OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PATHUBS, ITS OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATED SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, FAILURE TO SECURE EMPLOYMENT, OR WORK STOPPAGE) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:

• YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE PLATFORM;
• ANY INACCURACY, ERROR, OR OMISSION IN CURRICULUM ROADMAPS OR WORKSPACE CODE;
• ANY CONDUCT, STATEMENTS, OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON OR LINKED FROM THE SERVICE;
• UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR STUDY PROGRESS OR TRANSMISSIONS; OR
• RELIANCE ON ANY TECHNICAL, EDUCATIONAL, OR SALARY ESTIMATION DATA PRESENTED ON THE PLATFORM.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO PATHUBS IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE (12) MONTHS, OR ONE THOUSAND INDIAN RUPEES (INR 1,000 / APPROX. USD 12), WHICHEVER IS LESS.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms, their interpretation, and any claims or disputes arising out of or related to your use of Pathubs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to make a good-faith attempt to resolve any dispute informally by sending written notice detailing the issue to supportpathubs@gmail.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute amicably within forty-five (45) business days.
